The Committee Chairman on Health and Social Services, Kagawad Erico R. Talili recently launches a Team Building Workshop Seminar for the "sweet 60’s” last August 18, 2011 in coordination with the Coalition of Services for the Elderly (COSE) an NGO Foundation, represented by Ms. Eva Marie C. Lansing, Project Coordinator.

This is the first time COSE held such a seminar in the Second District because they are focused in the First and Third District of Davao City. Fortunate enough that Kagawad Talili stumbled upon this Organization in the Net and made an invitation which was responded positively by COSE through Ms. Lansin.

Possessing a notebook at this point in time, could no longer be discounted because a lot of information can be browsed and plucked from the internet network. And mind you, modesty aside, 5 out of 7 Kagawads of Brgy. Vicente Hizon Sr. have their own personal notebook/tablet that the barangay had a router installed and the monthly bill is chargeable to the "Kagawad Fund”, a common fund raised from the monthly honorarium of the Kagawads.

There are about 34 "sweet 60’s” in attendance representing different groups of senior citizens from Nova Tierra Village, Fortune Exec. Homes, Pampanga Exec. Homes, Sto. Domingo I and Lizada Village, Belen Homes, Model Homes, Donnasville, all in Barangay Vicente Hizon Sr.

It formally started with a prayer at around 8:15 led by Mrs. Evelyn Capisos, President Senior Citizen Group-Nova Tierra then a welcome address by Kagawad Erico R. Talili and a short briefing by Ms. Eva Marie C. Lansing on what’s going to happen during the entire day.

Before the workshop begins, a brief physical exercise was introduced by Ms. Lansing to keep them alert and to the delight of "sweet 60’s” .

The Punong Barangay also arrived shortly and give his brief message and jokingly said, " I hope we can still continue our Team Building when we are already in Heaven.” Sec Red
