The Welcome Sign of Brgy. V. Hizon Sr. at the South Border was installed at the corner of Alcantara & Sons last September 9, 2011. This is the 4^th standard signage being installed, as a project of barangay Tourism Council 2011 being steered by the charming Executive Officer Ms. Marites Z. del Rosario and came from the proceeds of their solicitations before the Araw Ng Barangay last July 9 & 10, 2011.

It was one drizzling afternoon when the erection all started but the barangay officials headed by Officer In-Charge Erico R. Talili stayed until it was over, together with Kagawad Capisos, Kagawad Digal, Kagawad Manayon, Secretary Red Nartates and Tourism Executive Officer Ms. Tes del Rosario.

The first standard sign was installed at Nova Tierra, bearing the logos of Davao City and the Barangay with 3-color combinations (blue, red and white).

Second was in Fortune Executive Homes, in front of Dencio's Kamayan.

The third one was in Lizada Village and compliments of Mr. Ricky Floirendo of ANFLOCOR.

Yet to be installed are the signages at the entrance of Pampanga Executive Homes, with directional arrows pointing to Pampanga Executive Homes, Model Homes, Sto. Domingo I and the welcome sign at the north border fronting the Coaco road crossing. At the forefront of every project of the Tourism Council was Kagawad Leo F. Digal, the Chairman on the Committee of Infrastructure who fully give his unwavering support and commitment. 

This is only one of the many projects that the Tourism Council 2011 have drafted on their drawing board and ready to be implemented once the sources of funding have been identified.  Sec Red
