On the early morning of Saturday, August 13, 2011 a throng of people was heading to barangay V. Hizon Sr. to avail themselves of the satellite registration requested by the Punong Barangay Ralph O. Abella. He himself was very early to ensure the smooth conduct of the registration together with Kagawad Talili, Kagawad Satander, Kagawad Uy and Kagawad Manayon. 

Of course we have to make a special mention and thanks to Atty. John Paul B. Cubero, the Election Offier IV of Comelec Second District for sending seven (7) Election Assistants, in response to the request. They were Ms. Lolita P. Lomuntod, Maria Madelene N. Malaki, Mary Grace G. Raagas, Slyvia Olmoguez, Melissa P. Ventic, April N. Mitchor and Guillermo G. Guerrero, all were EAS-Election Assistant II.

The services being catered were the registration of new voters, re-validation for those registered voters without bio-metrics yet and for voters who would like to transfer their polling precints.

The constituents of Barangay V. Hizon Sr. were very thankful to the Punong Barangay for making such a move that spare them from the hustle and bustle of queuing up and of course incurring lesser fare expenses.

There will be another round of satellite registration to be conducted on August 20, 2011 and for those who missed the August 13 schedule, they can still avail the same services.       

Again our most sincerest gratitude to the team from COMELEC for giving our constituents some respite and comfort of registering right in their own home turf. Sec Red
