A team from Davao City Parole and Probation Office No.2 (Department Of Justice) headed by Ms. Corzena T. Gentindatu, Chief Probation & Parole Officer recently conducted an orientation seminar last September 27, 2011.
Assisting her were Probation & Parole Officers II, Ms. Lily Anne B. Cabonce & Lynette S. Gamao and Ms. Jacky Pangilan, clerk.
Among the participants were Officer-In-Charge
Kagawad Erico R. Talili, Kagawad Delfin R. Compoc, Kagawad Pepito B. Manayon, Members of the Lupong Tagapamayapa, Purok
Leaders and Barangay Tanods.     The team discussed the difference between person/s convicted and awarded with parole or pardon and convicts or offenders under probation, expounded further the topic for the appreciation of the meeting attendees.   They concluded the orientation by laying down the basic foundation of their visit - to discussed the Basic Principles on Volunteerism on Parole/Pardon Convicts or Offenders under
Probation and encourage volunteers within the barangay to join the Volunteer Probation Aide Program (VPAP).  There is no reward for becoming a volunteer but the best reward and ultimate reward one could get is....Applause from Heaven! Sec Red
