Around 40 members of the Brgy. Hizon Council for Women led by their Focal Person Kagawad Cristita Santander and President Rowena Pacaldo attended a seminar on Micro-Enterprise Program for women held last September 3, 2011 at the Barangay Hall. The program aims to uplift the economic status of women by allowing them access to credit facilities. In the same manner it will enhance their entrepreneurial skills that will harness their human potential to the fullest and become independent that will eventually lead to self-development and recognition of women’s right.
The
resource speaker was Ms. Reeza Tigle, Community Coordinator of Development of
People’s Foundation, Inc.   Also present were representatives from CSSDO, namely; Ms.
Epifania Sagayno & Concepcion Tapongot who also presented an alternative
livelihood program to the participants. The activity was organized by the
Committee on Social Services chaired by
Kagawad Erico R. Talili. ERT
