The Integrated Coastal Management Plan Consultation was held at this barangay last April 4, 2012, 1:00 p.m. at the 3^rd floor of the barangay hall.

In attendance were stakeholders composed of BFARMC, religious and educational sectors, fisherfolks, etc. from the three (3) barangays namely; Barangay Sasa, Barangay Pampanga and Barangay Vicente Hizon Sr.

They were all welcome by Punong Barangay Ralph O. Abella being the head of the host barangay, who delivered his opening remarks.

The orientation on the Integrated Coastal Management based on Executive Order 533 was tackled by Mr. Ariel Priego, DENR-CMMD.

Present also were staffs from the Office of City Councilor Marissa S. Abella who were  always visible when it comes to environment and they were (standing from L-R) Art Cagumbay, Arlene Saraza, Kristine Pia and Junel Burong.

The Davao City Coastal Zone Management was discussed thoroughly by Mr. John Necor, Fishery Extension Officer from the City Agriculturist Office while the Program Recommendation was delivered by Mr. Redentor "Bong" Magno, DENR-CMMD.

The concept of the integrated coastal management plan consultation was wrapped -up at by the Hon. Councilor of the Second District Marissa Salvador Abella at the end of the consultation.

Lastly, it is worth mentioning here, the Davao City Water District represented by Ms.Ella Gabuya (seated beside Mrs. Rita Mariano Purok Leader of Brgy Hizon-both residents of Fortune Exec. Home) who vowed to support the programs on environment all the way. They provided for the snacks during  this activity and we'd like to extend our thanks to them.
