The barangay officials and functionaries led by its Punong Barangay Ralph O. Abella heeded the call of Vicente Hizon Sr. Elementary School for a clean-up drive last October 15, 2011.

According to the Principal, Ms. Marichu M. Alpas, the Department of Health conducted a Dengue surveillance last October 7, 2011 and recommended a clean-up drive inside the school premises.

The first to respond were the contingent from the Navy, pumping out the stagnant  waters and boring holes  to the cement fence to drain out the water.

The parents of the schoolchildren were also not to be left behind, who willingly do whatever they can for the good of their children.

Sec Red was manning  the entrance to take down the attendance of officials and functionaries responding to the "call to action" memo sent to them a day before.
