Early morning of August 6, 2011, Saturday at around 7:00 a.m. while Sec Red of this barangay was roaming around at Fortune Executive Homes, he  caught in a camera Mr. Rito Opao and Ms. Emily Villanueva  manning the collection point at the corner of Block 1 and 10^th Avenue.

The collection point serves for two avenues, 9^th and 10^th with around 70 households. The two were there as representative of each avenue and to see to it that the garbage brought to the collection point were properly segregated. The schedule for the day is residual and toxic wastes for CENRO’s hauling to the Sanitary Land-Fill.

Another act of volunteerism was displayed during that day, knowing the fact that they are busy people like Mr. Rito Opao a former SGV partner, former accountant of the AMS group, now in a private practice and very much active in the Couples for Christ as member of the Council of Elders.

We just hope that more people like Rito and Emily will come into the open to extend their helping hands for the benefit of humanity. God Speed to you Guys! Sec Red
