The Punong Barangay, Ralph O. Abella and the Chairman of the Environment, Kagawad Uy made a surprise inspection last July 21, 2011 at around 7:30 a.m. at Fortune Executive Homes on the alleged uncollected garbage. 

   

         It was Thursday morning, so the schedule of collection for the day's segregated garbage are supposedly food wastes and recyclables, but to the dismay of the barangay officials, there was a black bag with unsegregated garbage containing residuals and special wastes.

  

         The said barangay officials immediately put on their surgical gloves and started unloading the contents of the black bag to determine the origin of the garbage. Fortunately, through the Application Letter found there was a name of the applicant by the name of Edeline C. Pedarios, the daughter of Evangeline Pedarios residing at 5th Ave. , Fortune Executive Homes.

    

        Punong Barangay Ralph O. Abella lost no time in going to the residence of Ms. Evangeline Pedarios who admitted that it was indeed their garbage because of the letter identification.

   

        The Chairman Boy Uy immediately issued a citation ticket (warning) and asked them to retrieved their garbage, segregate it and throw it on Saturday for CENRO's schedule of collection.

        The implementation of the City Ordinance 0361-10 is indeed a tough job, but with political will as displayed by the Punong Barangay it can be done. Warning to would-be violators! Sec Red
