Mr. Leo Mantilla of Block 3, Fortune Executive Homes, donated P10,000.00 in cash as his participation to finance the construction of a box culvert with cover at the corner of 5^th Ave. and Block 3. Through the initiative of the Punong Barangay Ralph O. Abella  and Chairman of the Infra Kagawad Digal who provided for the manpower and the excavation was done by a mini backhoe personally owned by the barangay captain and presto!... the project came into fruition.

     With this installation, the problem of water lurking along the streets of Block 3 will be partially remedied because some of the water can freely run down to the canal going to 4^th Ave. and down to the main underground drainage.

     The gesture of Mr. Mantilla who offered help voluntarily was very commendable knowing the fact that the Barangay has no IRA to fund even minor projects such as this. This is another example of what can be done with people's participation. Leo.... May your tribe increase!!! Sec Red
