Barangay Vicente Hizon Sr. conducted a feeding program at Lizada Village last July 25, 2011 at the residence of Purok Baybay Leader Felix Chagas. This is in observance of the "Nutrition Month" being celebrated every month of July.

    

       This is a month long activity which started July 25 and will end on August 26, 2011, Monday to Friday serving lunch to the 25 underweight children identified by Barangay Nutrition Scholar Teresita Tau-toan. The children were pre-weighed before the feeding started and to be weighed again after one month to monitor their weight gain.

       The parents underwent an orientation on nutrition and parenting last June 25, 2011 in preparation for the said feeding activity.

          

      The barangay tapped the sponsors for the food who have shown their generosity and support to the program like Patok Sa Manok, Marina Tuna, Dencio's Kamayan, Elysses, Hotel Elena and JEWM who donated 500 pcs. eggs.

    

             

       The menu was prepared by nutritionist Ms. Gladys Rodriguez and the whole affair was supervised by Kagawad Erico R. Talili the Committee Chairman on Health and Social Services. Sec Red
