The barangay celebrated the Diabetes Heart Day by conducting a medical mission at the barangay health center last February 10, 2012 which started at  6:00 a.m. This was a project initiated by the City Health, Sasa District.

The daughter of kagawad Eufracio C. Uy, Marilyn Uy Garzon, medical technologist from San Pedro College through their Community Extension Services Office conducted fasting blood sugar screening to determine the presence of diabetes.

She was handed with a Certificate of Appreciation by Punong Barangay Ralph O. Abella assisted by Kagawad Erico R. Talili, the Committee Chairman on Health and Social Services together with Kagawad Eufracio C. Uy and Kagawad Cristita B. Santander.

She was joined later by staff from the City Health Office namely; Dra. Dessa Marie Rabia and Dr. Ian Abundo who did the consultation assisted by Rhea Riz Amora, RN, Gladys Rodriguez did the counselling  and Phillip Glenn Magallanes did the screening.

A good turn-out of the barangay constituents availed of the services including the oldest resident of this barangay from Sto. Domingo I, Mr. Lucrecio Rosalada, 93 years old who was born November 19, 1919.  Sec Red
