Two personnel from the City Agri. Office led by Ms. Merle Budiongan conducted a Root Crop Utilization training at Brgy. Vicente Hizon Sr. August 10, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

In attendance were some youth from Lizada Village, drop in clients and barangay officials and staffs led by Kagawad Eufracio C. Uy, the committee chairman on Environment and Agriculture.

Ms. Budiongan assisted by Myrna Salido taught the participants on Ice Cream making and Cooking Maja out of Squash.

The same participants were delighted and very eager to learn because this could help their respective families augment their income.
