Early morning dawn of Sunday, April 10, 2011 around 70 residents of Barangay Vicente Hizon Sr. headed by its Punong Barangay Ralph O. Abella converged in front of the Gate of Nova Tierra Village to hold for the first time a free street dance aerobics. An ecstatic crowd was dancing to the beat of modern music guided by 3 beautiful-bodied dance instructors from Beefit Gym.

The dance aerobics started at 5:00 a.m. and lasted for almost two hours that everyone was perspiring profusely.  So much fats and calories were burned during the day and everybody enjoyed to the max! There were also guests who joined us like Dvo. del Sur IBP Prez Atty. Cynthia Doromal and the PANACAN TRAIL BIKERS, for warm-up, ready for their TV coverage that will be shown in Channel 19 of South Spot Davao TV Station.

Due to public demand and insistence of the overjoyed crowd, the program coordinator Ms. Tes del Rosario, of the Barangay Tourism, Arts & Council, had no other choice but to have it scheduled again, and will advise everyone accordingly. We are encouraging the rest of our Kabarangays to attend the next session and we expect to have more people participating. Please spread the good news! Let’s get dancing!
