Not to be ignored is the remarkable contribution of Brgy. Hizon's Chairperson of the Committee onTourism.  Hence, the Barangay Council passed a resolution, authored by Kagawad Erico Talili recognizing Kgwd. Laurente Capisos as the composer of the Barangay Hizon Hymn.  There's also a proposal that the Barangay Hymn shall be sang during flag-raising ceremony at the Hizon Elem. School.

The awarding of the Plaque of Recognition by Punong Barangay Ralph O. Abella together with the other Council members (Kgwd. Nene Santander, Kgwd. Boy Uy and Kgwd. Leo Digal),  took place during the 6th Founding Anniversary of the Barangay last July 9, 2011. 

Our special thanks to Insular Phase I President Mr. Junjun Lim of Davao Orient Glass, for donating the glass plaque and the rest of the plaques awarded to all winners in the various competitions during our anniversary celebration.
