The congregation of SAKYA or Long Hua Temple Medical Mission Group recently sponsored a medical/dental mission in this barangay last May 6, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon.
This was also co-sponsored by Modern Time Enterprises, Inc., Davao City Chinatown Lion’s Club headed by its PP SO PENG KEE and City Health Office-Sasa District.
The constituents of this barangay were treated to free consultation, free medicine and free tooth extraction.

SAKYA who came all the way from Fujian, China, Ms. Lifen Chen and Ms. John Irene del Campo of Dominic & Sons Realty and Dev. Corp. posed for a
souvenir picture with the Punong Barangay Ralph O. Abella and Erico R. Talili
at the barangay hall before the start of the activity.  At the end of the activity, the service team were treated to a sumptuous meal provided by Modern Time Enterprises, Inc. headed by the President SO PENG KEE. It was a day of generosity and hard work, tiresome but it's all worth it because all of those who participated in the mission have a deep reason and a deep purpose for what they are doing - that is to help others.
