The barangay conducted a Cardio Vascular Disease Orientation last April 10, 2012, 1:00 p.m. at the barangay Hizon Health Center initiated by the Chairman on Health & Social Services, Kagawad Erico R. Talili and fully supported by Barangay Chairman Ralph O. Abella.

The orientation was conducted by Eldy Sombilon (CVD District Nurse Coordinatior), Emily Villagonzalo (Brgy. Hizon Nurse), Geraldine Wong (CVD Implementation Officer), Araceli Batacan (CVD Record Officer) and was concluded by Dra. Julinda Acosta (Medical Officer VI–CVD Coordinator), all of Sasa Health District.

The orientation was attended by residents from the different puroks of this barangay afflicted with diabetes.

After the orientation, the PEOPLE WITH DIABETES (PWD) was organized by way of electing their officers who will steer the organization toward the attainment of their sole purpose of helping one another manage  and contain the level of sugar in their bodies by sharing their knowledge and experiences. Sec Red
