The Barangay Vicente Hizon Sr. Tourism Arts and Culture Council was invited by the City Tourism Office last September 30, 2011 for a one-day seminar to promote tourism in a barangay level.
This barangay was fortunate enough to be chosen
as one of the four barangays (out of 182) to become a pilot area for tourist destination because of its potentials, particularly the beautiful coral reefs discovered at the seawater of Lizada
Village, part of this barangay.   The group brainstormed and tackled the "SWOT" Analysis and from there concocted the Vision, Mission and Goals for the Tourism Council of Barangay Vicente Hizon Sr.   With this development, as the master plan is now being prepared, we foresee Barangay V. Hizon Sr. as a Marine Eco-Tourism and Socio-Cultural Haven of the South - three years from now. Sec Red | |
