Barangay Vicente Hizon Sr. led by its Punong Barangay Ralph O. Abella,  participated the parade during the celebration of the 75^th Araw Ng Dabaw  last March 16, 2012.

The barangay officials and functionaries fully supported the effort of the Punong Barangay and were very excited from the preparation until they finally had joined the parade.

Aside from the walking contingent, a float was also "made-to-order" as an added attraction and also to promote the marine protected area now being on the near stage of implementation.

Aboard the float were beautiful ladies of the barangay to signify the beauty of the coral reefs that can be found under the seawater near Lizada.

It was a well attended parade with around 285 contingents participated from the different sectors, both public and private, like the different departments of the Office of the City Mayor, barangays, schools, business establishments, various organizations, etc...etc.

Also, the weather was very cooperative because it was'nt hot during the day and the wind is blowing coldly. Thank God...Davao City was so blessed!  Mabuhay 75th Araw Ng Dabaw! Sec Red
